Boulder County Elections Division offers a unique opportunity for high school juniors and seniors (ages 16 and 17) to work as student election judges in during the upcoming General Election in November.
The Student Democracy Program hires and trains eligible students to work side-by-side with experienced election judges at a Vote Center in Boulder County. These paid positions ($21.44/hour!) are a great way for students to learn about the election process firsthand. Plus, the experience looks great on applications and resumes. Visit the Student Democracy Program webpage for more information about the program and to apply. Interested students who are 18 can serve as full election judges.
Also, National Voter Registration Day is September 17. This is a great opportunity to remind your eligible students to register to vote if they will be 18 on election day (or pre-register if 16 or 17).
