Whether you are looking for access to student records including academic transcripts or health documents or need assistance with education verification, the Boulder Valley School District is happy to help.
Current/Recent Students
Attended BVSD less than seven years ago
If the student is currently attending or if the student's last year of attendance in our schools was 7 school years ago or less, the school's registrar will assist with your records/transcript request.
Former Students
Attended BVSD more than 7 years ago
Our Student Enrollment Center can assist with all other records/transcript requests or in the event that the school is closed. Fill out your request form below:

Special Education Records
Current or former students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Our Special Education department handles all special education related student records.
Requests from Government or Local Agencies
Lawyers and law offices, court orders and similar legal requests for current and former students’ records may submitted via the form below or via mail. Subpoenas for records must be served at the Education Center.

Release of Student Information
Per District policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) student records are only available to those who have authorization from the student or parent, guardian or responsible person if the student is under 18 years of age. If the student is 18 years of age or older, school records will not be released to a parent, guardian or responsible person without a Consent for Release form signed by the student.

Parties other than parents, guardians or eligible students must fill out a Consent for Release form when requesting a student's records or provide other documentation releasing the records.
Amendment of Student Records
Per District policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), parents/guardians or eligible students may request the amendment of education records if they believe it is inaccurate, misleading, or in violation of the student’s rights of privacy.
Parents/Guardians or eligible students may submit a written request through the Request to Amend Student Records form and provide a completed copy to the school principal.
