Movamonos! Let’s Get Moving!
While BVSD began the 2020-21 school year in an unusual way, we are happy to announce that the popular Trip Tracker program re-launched September 1st with a new twist for home learning and beyond. The goal is to keep students moving to counterbalance the extra time they are spending online during home learning. Students will be able to earn Trip Tracker dollars for up to two 30-minute periods of exercise, per school day, during home learning. As students return to in-person learning in the school buildings, they will once again earn Trip Tracker Dollars for using active transportation to and from school.
Since announcing the return of Trip Tracker, we have gotten an overwhelming amount of positive responses!
“Thanks for doing this! This kind of motivation will help keep my boys moving.”
“We have decided to bike to school and back home each morning before school to help wake-up our brains for the day.”
“Many thanks for your wonderful program as we enter our last year of it with our third daughter in 8th grade now. It has made walking/biking/bussing a much more positive experience for everyone (parent/child alike)! “
