In BVSD Bikeology we teach GO-BC, which stands for:
- Go with the flow: ride predictably, moving in the same direction as traffic and obeying all traffic signs and signals. When you ride on the street, you are a vehicle, just like a car.
- Be alert to traffic and road hazards.
- Communicate: use hand signals and eye contact to communicate with other users of the roadway. Use your voice if necessary.
