Program Characteristics

Jamestown Elementary School is a K-5 two-room school which provides children with outstanding educational opportunities. Students have the opportunity to learn and grow in the same classroom for kindergarten – second grade and third grade – fifth grade.

Special Programs and Opportunities

Extracurricular activities offered at Jamestown include skiing, camping, hiking, team-building, yearbook club, and several environmental activities. Field trips, on-site presentations, and visiting authors and actors enhance the curriculum. Children and teacher participate in community service and environmental projects in the “Roots and Shoots” after-school nature club.
