Colorado law (Board of Health rule 6 CCR 1009-2) requires all students attending Colorado schools and licensed child cares to be vaccinated against certain diseases unless an exemption is filed.

Schools work hard to ensure compliance with immunization laws. Your help in providing updated immunization records or exemptions at school registration and when your child receives additional vaccine(s) is greatly appreciated. You should discuss your child’s vaccination needs with your child’s doctor or local public health agency.

Under Colorado law, a student may be exempted from immunizations if they have submitted a signed medical, religious or personal exemption.
