 About Our School

The Arapahoe Campus is comprised of Arapahoe Ridge High School, Boulder Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center, Options Academy and Engage Academy.

Arapahoe Ridge High School provides a distinctive learning experience that produces talented graduates with the knowledge and skills essential for lifelong learning. Our alternative high school specializes in serving students who are identified as over-aged and under-credit with opportunities for concurrent enrollment with Front Range Community College. Students may earn 100 credits per school year through the school district’s Guaranteed Viable Curriculum. Arapahoe Campus implements standards-based grading and instruction and utilizes Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and Restorative Justice to foster positive student behavior.

The Boulder Career Technical Education (CTE) Center empowers students through rigorous academic and technical skills for college and career readiness. These programs offer concurrent enrollment in community colleges and embedded required curriculum for high school graduation. State Licensing Exams are available in Nursing Assistant, Esthetician, Hairstyling and Nail Technology. For a full listing of course offerings for juniors and seniors in BVSD, please visit the Arapahoe Campus website

Engage Academy is a new alternative program which complements the alternative offerings overseen by Arapahoe Campus Administration. Engage Academy strives to assist students struggling in traditional educational settings to find a place where they can engage in their educational path and emerge post-secondary career and college ready.
