New superintendent welcomes back BVSD students

Students in the Boulder Valley School District return to school this Wednesday and Thursday and BVSD’s new superintendent, Dr. Rob Anderson will be on hand to welcome them back.

While all 31,000 BVSD students will be in class on Thursday, August 16, the district begins by welcoming back elementary, sixth-graders and high school seniors on Friday.

Anderson, who became superintendent on July 1, plans to ride a school bus to Monarch High School on Wednesday morning, before participating in Back to School events at the school. Additionally, he plans to visit Angevine Middle School and Nederland Elementary School. Below is a schedule.

Last month, Anderson created a 100-Day Plan, which lays out his plans for his first months as superintendent. One of the primary goals is connecting with students, staff and families. Read more at https://www.bvsd.org/superintendent/Pages/progress.aspx
