CU Succeed - Certifications and Scholarships
Scholarships
Some of our high schools offer college credits in select classes through UC Denver and UC Colorado Springs. Families pay for the tuition that is offered at a steeply reduced rate. Currently, courses are offered at Boulder, Broomfield, Centaurus, Fairview, Monarch and Nederland High Schools. To find out what courses are being offered, please see your counselor or teacher. Students who are in financial need can request tuition assistance through the CU Succeed Scholarship Request (below). The deadline for Spring classes is February 10, 2026.
Certificate Programs
In partnership with the online branch of the CU Denver CU Succeed program, BVSD supports students who want to take college classes to earn either the Data Science Essentials Certificate or the Professional Skills Certificate, or both. Regardless of someone's career path, these certificates teach skills that are beneficial in many professional and academic settings. Both programs are 12 credits (4 classes), fully online asynchronous with weekly assignments, and have classes that overlap the two programs.
