Regeneron Science Talent Search Winner- 6th place and $80,000
Fridberg, Kyle , Fairview High School, Boulder, Colorado, Discovery and Characterization of a Layered Fe(III)/Mn(III) Sulfate Compound: Precursor for New Lithium-ion Battery Cathodes
Isabella Bowland, 11th grade from Fairview High School, won $5,000 (Top of Category) and $3,000 (1st Place) in the Plant Sciences category.
Kyle Fridberg, 11th grade from Fairview High School, won $5,000 (Top of Category), $3,000 (1st Place) in the Chemistry category, the Intel-Indo US Science and Technology Forum Visit to India Award, $750 from the US Air Force. and $4,000 (1st Place) from the American Chemical Society.
Elliot Gorokhovsky, 12th grade from Fairview High School, won $3,000 (1st Place) in the System Software category, $1,000 (1st Place) from the Association for Computing Machinery, and received participation and travel to summer school "Web Valley" in Trento, Italy from Fondazione Bruno Kessler.
