Boulder Valley School District is currently in:

Phase 1: Home Learning

Starting September 29, BVSD will move to:

Phase 2+: Limited in-person learning for prioritized groups

  • Students in Grades Kindergarten-2nd will return to their classrooms 4 days a week (Tuesday-Friday)
  • Learners with the most intensive needs (Students in intensive special education programs) will return to in-person learning two days a week for students in grades 3-12 and four days a week for students in grades K-2 beginning with the implementation of Phase 2 +.
  • Learners at some of our mountain schools
  • Hybrid learning at Boulder TEC. Students will return for two days of in-person learning in cohorts.

  5. If you have a need that your school cannot address, please contact the Family Help Line at 720-770-0102 and leave a message with your full name and what you need assistance with. A bilingual member of our Equity & Partnerships team will return your call promptly.



Tonight, ahead of schedule, the Working Advisory Group presented some of their recommendations to the Board of Education. We have decided to move forward with the following proposals, which will move us to Phase 2+ – Limited In-Person Learning, starting this month for select groups of students, including the return of K-2 students to class on Tuesday, September 29
