BVSD App

Apptegy is BVSD's two-way classroom management tool. Teachers will use Apptegy to communicate directly with parents in each classroom and parents can message teachers directly via the app. Teachers can post messages, updates, direct message individuals, share resources and more. Apptegy is also the tool that parents will receive emergency alerts via text, email and phone, as well as posted in the app. School newsletters and updates from clubs and teams will also be shared via Apptegy.

Students at the high school level will receive emergency alerts via text, email and phone. Messages from their school, teachers and coaches/club leads if requested by the staff member as a communication tool.

School staff and teachers will use Apptegy to communicate directly with parents, and at the high school level, students. Teachers can post messages, updates, direct message individuals, share resources and more for multiple classrooms. Schools will send their school newsletters via Apptegy. Apptegy automatically translates teacher/parent communication into parents preferred languages.

Coaches/club leads will use the 'Connect' feature to communicate directly with parents, and at the high school level, students related to their athletic or club teams.
