BVSD App

1. Download the app in your preferred app store
2. Login with the mobile number or email associated with your Infinite Campus (IC) guardian account. (Not sure what your info is in your IC guardian account or need to change it? Update with these instructions or ask your school for help)
3. Follow verification instructions
4. View the rooms and messages features to communicate with your teachers/coaches

Once logged in, parents can customize notification preferences and select their preferred language.

Parents can access Rooms and Messages by downloading the BVSD app on Apple iOS or Android devices. Additionally they can also be accessed through a web browser at bvsd.id.thrillshare.com.

Students can access Apptegy via their ClassLink Single Sign On from a computer or on their mobile device. Students - look for the Login with ClassLink icon as an option in the mobile app.

School staff can access the staff features of the app to communicate with parents and post updates in two ways:

1. Via your desktop by signing into the "Apptegy" tile from your ClassLink Single Sign On.
2. Download the "Apptegy for staff" app and log in with your BVSD email and password to communicate via your mobile device.

Parents that are also BVSD staff members login to the BVSD app with the phone number or email associated with their Infinite campus guardian account. If your BVSD email is used as your guardian email in Infinite campus, you will not be able to login as a parent to see your student's class information.

BVSD employees that are parents must have separate, unique email addresses for their staff and guardian accounts. Moving forward, your staff email will be used exclusively for your employee account. Your parent account in Infinite Campus (or whatever guardian management tool the other school district uses) must be updated to a personal email address.

Once updated and your BVSD email removed from your guardian account, your BVSD email can be used as a staff member to login to Apptegy as a staff member via your ClassLink Single Sign On or the Apptegy for Staff app (different from the BVSD app- intended for staff to post to their schools from a mobile device if desired).

Apptegy is BVSD's two-way classroom management tool. Teachers will use Apptegy to communicate directly with parents in each classroom and parents can message teachers directly via the app. Teachers can post messages, updates, direct message individuals, share resources and more. Apptegy is also the tool parents will use to receive emergency alerts via text and email, which will also be posted in the app. School newsletters and updates from clubs and teams will also be shared via Apptegy.

Students at the high school level will receive emergency alerts via text and email. They may also receive messages from their school, teachers and coaches/club leads.

School staff and teachers will use Apptegy to communicate directly with parents, and at the high school level, students. Teachers can post messages, updates, direct message individuals, share resources and more for multiple classrooms. Schools will send their school newsletters via Apptegy. Apptegy automatically translates teacher/parent communication into parents' preferred languages.

Coaches/club leads will use the 'Connect' feature to communicate directly with parents, and at the high school level, with students related to their athletic or club teams.
